‘Harischandra Ghat’ starts!

‘Harischandra Ghat’ the name of graveyard in Srirampuram Bangalore is now the title of Kannada film. The title of the film ‘Harischandra Ghat’ also has the caption ‘Last Stop’.

Producer, actor and director BP Srinivas who gathered loads of attention from his first unreleased film ‘Mussanjeya Gelathi’ as he plays the professor in the film and fall in love with his real life daughter in reel life is heading the megaphone of ‘Harischandra Ghat’ that went on the floor on his birthday August 15th at a graveyard in Cox Town Bangalore.

In ‘Harischandra Ghat’ BP Srinivas is playing the role of a millionaire and his daughter again plays the reel life daughter in the film. The fifty percent of the shoot of ‘Harischandra Ghat’ will be shot in the graveyard. It is about a grave digger hero played by Arjun is immensely loved by an aristocrat family girl. Poles apart in the social status the love that blossom between a boy from graveyard and rich girl leads to various complications says director cum producer and also actor BP Srinivas addressing the media. BP Srinivas cut a cake at the media briefing at Green House restaurant in the presence of his film team. A black dog is required for this film that should look bony. A search for a trained dog is no in progress.

BP Srinivas is releasing his maiden film ‘Mussanjeya Gelathi’ on 28th of this month. Arjun of ‘Ganga Cauvery’ is coming back again in a unique role. He has talked to the people living in the graveyard to give a correct picture of his role. Shalini the proud producer daughter says she is in a quiet and simple role in the film. There is lot of substance in the role I play says Shalini.

Jaipal is scoring the music. Shivasamaya has written the screenplay, lyrics and dialogues. Editor of Kannada tabloid ‘Hai Bangalore’ Ravi Belegere an anchor cum actor is in an important role in this ‘Harischandra Ghat’.
